Description: The President shall have executive supervision over the activities of the Society within the scope provided by the bylaws.
Description: The Vice President shall assume the duties of the President in the event of an absence, incapacity, or resignation. The Vice President shall also serve as the Program Coordinator and other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Description: The Secretary shall keep the minutes for the general and any board meetings and provide copies to any and all appropriate parties. The Secretary shall maintain all correspondence, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Description: The Treasurer shall be responsible for the keeping and maintaining of the Society's checkbook and ledger. Deposit all monies as required to the Society's account and pay their bills in a timely manner. A report shall be given at each meeting. The Treasurer shall also perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Description: The Library Liaison shall initiate and maintain all genealogical resources and coordinate staffing for the Kenai Community Library Genealogy Room. They shall review recent publications and recommend any acquisitions. The Library Liaison shall open the mail and disperse as necessary and perform any other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Description: The Membership Coordinator shall be responsible for maintaining the membership directory and records. They shall maintain the Society's Surname list for use by other members in an effort to help with their own family research connections.
Description: Member-at-Large oversees the publicity for the Society. They will contact the local newspaper and radio stations for monthly announcements regarding monthly meetings, and the subject of the programs that will be given each month. The Member At Large ensures that the Society's Leadership adheres to it By-Laws and provides guidance.
Description: The Social Media Coordinator shall be responsible for maintaining all social media accounts to include Facebook, Web-page and Hotmail. The Social Media Coordinator shall also post upcoming events in coordination with both local and statewide genealogical societies.
